IMAGINING MOZAMBIQUE EXHIBIT KICKS OFF THE SUMMIT

Imagining Mozambique
Curated by W+K Amsterdam Interactive Producer Jamie Kim

Colonization, civil war, natural disaster and economic instability have plagued Mozambique over the last 25 years, which has led to widespread uncertainty for tomorrow’s youth. The brainchild of interactive producer Jamie Kim, Imagining Mozambique is a collection of thought-provoking art inspired by the Mozambican children, bringing attention to their day-to-day plight for survival and change.

Money raised through sale of the artwork goes directly to ASEM-Association en faveur de l’Enfance Mozambiquaine. Over the past 17 years, ASEM has offered Mozambican children an alternative to living life in the streets, abandonment and rejection from society.

Join us at MassMarket’s gallery space on Sunday, October 25 for the New York premiere of Imagining Mozambique, with a party designed to raise awareness to this great cause and exhibit, and kick off the 2009 Boards Summit.

Sunday, Oct. 25, 7:30 PM
105 Rivington St., 2nd Floor

Brought to you by Wieden+Kennedy
Presented in association with MassMarket
